New Book Deal!

Does the world need another retelling? Why, Yes!

I’m super excited to announce my next book Great or Nothing, a retelling of Little Women set during WWII! There are four co-authors total and each of us are tackling a March sister. Jessica Spotswood is writing Meg; Tess Sharpe is writing Jo; Joy McCullough is writing Beth; and I’m writing Amy. It’s slated for publication in Spring 2022 from Delacorte Press!

Fun story: I really disliked Amy when I was growing up. I was Team Jo all the way and felt betrayed when Laurie and Amy got married. But as an adult I’ve really come to admire Amy for her confidence and her spunk and I’ve been having such a fun time writing a modernized version of her. Let me tell you that she gets herself into some real shenanigans, including bumping into a certain handsome soldier along the way.
